1st course participating nations

  First Tactical Leadership Programme course is in progress at Albacete (LEAB).

• Course started on 23rd September 2008 and is planned to finish on December 16th 2008
• Attending the course there are 8 instructors and 14 students coming from all VAAFSE member units. 
• Presently the course has completed 8 over 12 planned missions
• The average attendees were 18 pilots per event and up to now more than 210 sorties  have been flown.

1. Air to Air Gunnery range at Decimo air base (LIED) on September 23rd
2. Air to Ground range at Bardenas (LEZG) on September 30th
3. Tactical Formation at Albacete (LEAB), with aggressors based at LEBZ (Talavera), October 7th
4. Air Defence operations with scrambles and GCI at Albacete (LEAB), using recorded tracks, October 14th
5. Combined Air Operation and Offensive Counter Air Operation at Albacete (LEAB), against Talavera raid, using aggressors based at Talavera (LEBZ), October 21th
6. Air Defence Operations with CAP and dogfighting, 2 side exercise using recorded tracks as intruders and aggressors as escort,  October 28th
7. Combined Air Operation and Offensive Counter Air Operation at Albacete (LEAB), against Escombreras pool, 2 side exercise using both students and aggressors as defenders, based at San Javer (LELC), November 4th
8. Combined Air Operation and Offensive Counter Air Operation at Albacete (LEAB), preplanned mission STR-03 Strike to Valdecaballeros Nuclear Power station, one side exercise with students as leaders and aggressors based at Talavera (LEBZ), Tuesday November 11th
9. Combined Air Operation and Offensive Counter Air Operation at Albacete (LEAB), preplanned mission STR-04 Strike to Bilbao seaport and pool, Tuesday November 18th
