 Several participants at parking area, exercises ending.
- Yesterday AIRSOUTHV forces concluded DORIC DART 2008, a two steps joint exercise planned to evaluate the possibility that 9th Aerobrigata joins our organization.
- Exercise was made on two steps on Friday 16th and Tuesday 20th due to tecnichal problems on VPN server not yet solved however.
- COMAIRSOUTHV tasked his forces on air superiority, offensive counter air, close support and special operations.
- Against VAAFSE forces a TLP aggressor was used in order to assess self defensive tactics and situation awareness.
- Despite this type of exercise was a brand new activity for 9th sim-pilots they all showed a professional and skilled behaviour, under this point of view exercise was a success and demonstrated they can join fully our organization.
- However work remain to do in order to fully comply with our standard and learn our tactics, but 9th people demonstrated willness and skill to fulfill this task.

 Participants at parking area at Albacete
- TLP support continues with another night dedicate to test in flight the TLP misison index. As usual al flawless, just one flaw on one route planning that will be promptly fixed.
- GOLD packaged mission against Bilbao harbour:
- 1 SEAD mission BLU, MARTE 21 and LUCE 12
- 1 STRIKE misison, RED, LUPO 1
- 1 STRIKE mission LUCE 1 and LUCE 13
- 1 POST STRIKE Recce, BLACK, SAETTA 7
 GREEN 1 bombs on harbour (short shoot)

- Yesterday night 12 VAAFSE assets (11 aircrafts + a GCI) participated to "DAWN ALERT" an exercise that begins 2008 season of VAAFSE joint exercises.
- This was the first two sided exercise of VAAFSE where two parties: BLUE and RED faced togheter to simulate a "real" environment of tactical aerial operations involving air defence, counter air , interdiction, and ground radar controlled interceptions.
- Exercise was flawless on all sides, on the software side servers, software and connections did a very smooth job, on the players side once again they demonstrated professionalism and skill.
- VAAFSE at this point is mature and ready and proposes himself as one of the most important realities on tactical operative fligh simulations scenario overall Europe.
